Although you can’t take dogs inside, there is a large seating area outside (including a bit under canvas) and you order your drinks and food on the App and it is brought out to you.

Located in Simmons park which in itself is beautiful and has a variety of walks (see Devon walks page), this cafe is very dog friendly inside and outside. Muddy dogs are expected and accepted in winter.

Dog friendly restaurant with a field where you can walk the dog. Although the menu didn’t have a gluten free option for breakfast they were happy for me to order whichever items I wanted (and the hash browns were gluten free)

Attached to the Whiddon Down services, the Hog and Hedge welcomes all dogs. There is also a reasonable area to walk dogs. The cakes were very good.

Very dog friendly – they gave us a separate room when we visited with 5 people and 7 Golden Retrievers. Great choice of menu – especially for vegetarian and Gluten free and the food was delicious.
Winkleigh – Catkin Blooms, EX19 8HW
Very friendly (and dog friendly) cafe and florist who also sells beautiful gifts. Parking is difficult – find somewhere on the road – but absolutely worth it. At least one gluten free cake always available. Perfect for a stop after walking the dogs in Winkleigh Woods.
