Another St Austell brewery hotel and extremely dog friendly – we had 4 Golden Retrievers with us when we visited on a sunny Saturday. Food was delicious and my friend commented on how good the wine was that she had.

Cofton holidays – Amelia cafe, EX6 8RP

Discover Devon’s 5-Star Holiday Park

We met Jay and Callum here – they were staying in a dog friendly cottage on the site. Amelia’s cafe is dog friendly inside and out – there’s a lovely covered terrace to sit out on.

Dog friendly pub with a reasonable menu.

Newton Abbot – the Barn Owl, TQ12 5AN

Dog friendly pub with a varied menu.

Paignton – The Hyde Dendy, TQ4 6BD

WELCOME TO THE HYDE DENDY

We stopped off her for dessert and a drink after having takeaway fish and chips from the Paignton Pier Chippy company which does gluten free fish and chips.

The barman was very helpful – brought water over to the dogs straight away and made a great fuss of them. They have quite an extensive menu with some gluten free options and their toffee popcorn sundae was delicious.
