There are a lot of Facebook groups out there for every breed of dog, not forgetting mixed breeds and rescue dogs. These can be a great resource for information, reassurance, meet ups and just enjoying the stories of other people’s dogs.
If you search under breed, or for example ‘I love Mongrel dogs’, you will find a wealth of fun and information which will dramatically increase the time you spend browsing through Facebook.

Facebook group open to anyone who owns a Golden Retriever and lives in either Cornwall or Devon. A great resource for help and information. Under topics, there is information on such things as treating hot spots, titre testing, ticks etc. But most enjoyable for the posts of Golden Retrievers enjoying life (often at the expense of their owner’s sanity).

The UK’s only magazine dedicated to dog friendly places. There are resources on the website but it’s well worth subscribing to the magazine for the articles and ideas of where to go.
