Briarfields Caravan Park, GL51 0SX
An adult only campsite close to Cheltenham with a bus stop very close to the entrance with buses to Cheltenham and Gloucester.
The site is beautifully maintained. A bit noisy from road traffic, small planes (day time only) and sirens but we didn’t find it too bad on the pitches we were on (39 and 40). Most of the pitches are quite small (there are some larger ones) and they all have a tap on the pitch which is useful.
Toilets and showers beautifully clean and a pizza van and bar visited on the Friday night when we were staying in September.
The biggest drawback for us is that there is nowhere to let the dogs off the lead. The Orchard is a small grassy area for walking dogs but is not secure.
Probably best for an overnight stop rather than a long stay.
