https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/cornwall/lanhydrock/visiting-lanhydrock-with-your-dog

A 3 pawprint National Trust place (3 is the highest rating for dog friendly), although dogs are not allowed in the house or garden, there is a large estate to walk around and dog friendly cafes.

Bude – Homeleigh Garden centre, EX23 9NR

https://www.homeleigh.co.uk/bude/

Dog friendly garden centre with dogs allowed in the first part of the cafe (area is clearly marked). Reasonable choice of food and drinks including Sunday roasts, cake, snacks and lunches.

Bude – Rectory Tearooms, MorwenstowEX23 9SR

Fabulous tea rooms with gorgeous cottage style gardens close to good walks along the coast path. The gluten free options – cream tea, cakes, savouries etc are brilliant and the full tea (the gluten free option must be ordered for two) is delicious and fantastic for a special occasion.

Callington – Manor House Inn, Rilla Mill, PL17 7NT

Fabulous – the staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to accept our booking for 6 adults and 7 Golden Retrievers – and made a great fuss of the dogs. There was a good choice on the menu and the food was delicious.

Lovely cafe – the waitress was very friendly and brought water and dog biscuits and made a real fuss of Morwenna and Jenna.

Fowey – Havenors, PL23 1AT

Lovely dog friendly pub on the Quay.

Lizard point – Polpeor cafe, TR12 7NU

Dog friendly both inside and out, very friendly staff. Good menu including dog ice-cream.

Lizard point – Wavecrest cafe, TR12 7NU

Cafe with beautiful views and when we were there, both one of the waitresses and the Chef had Golden retrievers so made a massive fuss of our two.

Penzance – Jubilee pool, TR18 4FF

Although the pool is not dog friendly (except for the dog day at the end of the season), the cafe is. The girls got water, treats and a fuss made of them.

Penzance – Penlee House gallery and museum, TR18 4HE

Set in a beautiful park which is perfect for walking the dogs, the cafe only allows dogs outside but is a lovely place to stop as long as the weather is OK.

Sennen Cove – Old Success Inn, TR19 7DG

https://oldsuccess.co.uk/

Fabulous pub – dog friendly in the bar and restaurant. Just metres from the beach and the South West Coast path. The staff are very friendly, dog biscuits and dog beds offered for their comfort. The food is fantastic with good gluten free options.

St Ives – Porthmeor beach cafe, TR26 1JZ

Overlooking Porthmeor beach, the solid part does not allow dogs but the covered in outside section does.

Widemouth Bay , Bude, EX23 0AW

Widemouth Bay (Black Rock), Bude, EX23 0AG

There are two beaches at Widemouth Bay, both with car parks and cafes. The main beach (to the north) is dog friendly in the winter and the other (Black Rock) is dog friendly all year. Both cafes are dog friendly and serve a good selection of food.
